STARR Compression
•
The compression efficiency is dependent on file type and complexity. Artifacts may be possible when compression
is selected depending on the file complexity.
•
STARR compression must be selected to support the advanced features in Fiery Options; i.e., collation, reverse
order, etc.
Print Speed / System Performance
•
The maximum print speed for the Fiery ZX-6 mid volume system is limited by the print speed of the 5790 or
DocuColor 5750/ 5799.
•
Fiery ZX-6 is a document printer. First Copy Out Time (FCOT) is affected when reverse order is selected. The
copier may cycle down between each job depending on job complexity.
•
Overall system performance (‘Click to Clunk’ time) is primarily dependent upon the software applications and
network environment being used. Rasterizing (RIP-ing) is only a small fraction of “Click to Clunk” time.
•
Printing with custom software applications may produce unexpected or unknown results.
•
When black detection is enabled, productivity will be affected by the detection of black to full color mix.
