DP N24, N32 and N40 System Administrator Guide

Installing the

Printer

This section describes the procedures for unpacking and setting up
the printer in its base configuration. If you have additional options
to install, refer to Appendix C: Installing and Removing Printer
Options for specific instructions for each option.

Before You Begin

Be sure to read this entire section before continuing on to the
installation steps. This section contains important information
concerning your safety and the safety of the printer.

Space Requirements

For easy operation, maintenance and replacing of consumables, you
should select a location for the printer that leaves the minimum
clearances around the printer as shown in Figure 1.4 for a base
configuration, and in Figure 1.5 on page 1-15 when options are
installed.
