DocuPrint P14 User Guide

Operational Safety

The Xerox DocuPrint P14 and its supplies were designed 
and tested to meet strict safety requirements. These 
include safety agency examination, approval, and 
compliance with established environmental standards.

To ensure the continued safe operation of your Xerox 
DocuPrint P14, follow these safety guidelines at all times.

Improper connection of the grounding conductor can 
result in electrical shock.

Follow warnings and instructions marked on or 
supplied with the equipment.

Locate the Xerox DocuPrint P14 on a solid support 
surface (not on plush carpet) that has adequate 
strength to support the weight of the unit.

Locate the Xerox DocuPrint P14 in an area that has 
adequate ventilation and room for servicing.

Do not locate the Xerox DocuPrint P14 near a radiator 
or any other heat source.

Do not obstruct ventilation openings. They are 
provided to prevent overheating.

Do not place or push objects of any kind into the 
ventilation openings.
