Installation and Configuration on Windows 98/Me

Hardware/Software Requirements

The system requirements for the print driver for Windows 98 and Windows Me are as
follows:

Computer System

Personal computer on which Windows 98 or Windows Me is installed.

Basic Software

• Windows 98

• Windows Me

Installing the Print Driver

This section describes how to install AdobePS 4.5.3 on Windows 98 or Windows Me.
The following procedure uses Windows 98 as an example.

NOTE:

To cancel the installation, click [Cancel] in a dialog box displayed during the

installation. To cancel the settings in a dialog box and return to the previous dialog
box, click [Back].

Installation Procedure

Start Windows 98.

From the [Start] menu, select [Settings] and click [Printers].

In the [Printers] window, double-click [Add Printer].

Click [Next].
