Enhanced Job Preferences
The Preferences selections support the new features and
functions for DocuSP 3.6.

Under Job Policy, the following new preferences can be set:
· Proof Quantity - to change the number of copies or sets
that are printed when a job is proofed.
· Duplex Mode Conflict Resolution - This preference
has 2 settings:

Move Side 2 Images to Next Page : Setting this
preference allows any job programming conflicts
between side 1 (front) and side 2 (back) of a page to
result in the side 2 image being placed on side 1
(front) of the next page or sheet in the job. This
feature is especially important for printed covers or
media coating differences between side 1 and side
2.

Apply Side 2 Attributes to Side 1 : Setting this
preference sets the system to work as expected in
DocuSP 2.1 and earlier. Job Programming conflicts
between side 1 and side 2 of a job results in the side
2 programming attributes to be applied to side 1 of
the page.
· Retain PDL Files of last 50 jobs - Another new feature
in DocuSP 3.6, Retain PDL Files of last 50 jobs, allows
the customer to print and change properties on
completed print jobs. Instead of resubmitting a print job
from a client workstation the job is retained at the
controller, where the job can be resubmitted and job
properties can be changed. When Retain PDL Files of
last 50 jobs is enabled, the user is allowed to change job
properties and resubmit jobs for printing once they
become available in the Completed Jobs field of Job
Manager.
The maximum number of jobs available in the
Completed Jobs field is reduced from 500 to 50 when
Retain PDL Files of last 50 jobs is enabled. When the 50
jobs limit has been reached, the DocuSP controller will
automatically delete jobs as new jobs are added to the
system. The oldest job is deleted first.
