XEROX DOCUPRINT 4850/4890 IPS GUIDE TO PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

To replace the waste container:

1. Open the printer doors and locate the dry ink cartridge at the

left side of the printer. The developer waste container is located
under the color dry ink bottle.

2. Spread a dropcloth on the floor under the developer waste

container area.

3. Hold the container by the tab on the top. Lift the container up

approximately half an inch, then pull it out of the printer. Let the
tab-end of the container touch the floor, then grasp the
container by the handle. Note that a full container weighs
approximately 8 pounds/3.6 kg.
