KEY POINT:
Although all the trays have auto size detection
capability, the paper weight (g/m
2
) range must be selected the
Weight Indicator Button at the top / front of each tray. Selecting the
correct paper weight range affects the throughput performance
and image quality.
4. Ensure the paper tray selections are set correctly.
•
Press the Weight Indicator button until the appropriate
weight range of the paper is lit.
Select
Transparency
if you are running transparencies.
• Press the Paper Size Indicator button until the appropriate
size is lit.
Select
Non-Standard
paper if the paper guides inside the
tray do not show the size of the paper you are loading.
• Press the Paper Type Indicator button until the appropriate
paper type is lit,
Coated
or
Uncoated
.
5.
Close the Paper Tray.
