Revised November 1995
COPY QUALITY
COPY QUALITY
-
Color quality is subjective and could be impacted by lighting, environment,
and / or thruput materials (paper and other).
-
Like any color reproduction process there will be some variances in copy
quality over time.
-
Copy Quality is strongly influenced by paper.
- Key Applications should be copied on the 5760/5765 and reviewed with
the customer.
-
Transparencies are non absorbent and may exhibit non uniform density
streaks in large solid areas from the fuser agent film.

DUPLEX COPYING
DUPLEX COPYING
-
MajestiK 5760/65 is recommended for duplex applications.
-
As with any full color copier, duplex performance is not expected to match
the performance for single sided copying. Paper jam rates will be higher
than the rate you will experience for the same thruput material in single
sided mode. Extensive duplex operation may have a secondary effect on
performance and copy quality of single sided jobs
.
-
MajestiK should provide reasonable duplex performance when operated
within the specified paper weight range (8.5 x 11, 16-28 lb. only) and
utilizing the following recommended procedure:
-
Duplex copies should only be run from bypass tray for the second side.
-
The black and white or lower density image side should be run first.
-Feeding reliability may be improved by rotating the paper orientation 90
degrees before copying the second side.
-
The MajestiK will not be replaced free of charge for unsatisfactory
duplex operation because a replacement unit will have similar
performance.
