Connecting to the Network

Connecting network cable to the Fiery EX2101

In this section, the front view and back panel of the Fiery EX2101 are illustrated,
followed by information for connecting to the Ethernet board.

Shut down the Fiery EX2101

before connecting it to any network device. If the

Fiery EX2101 has just finished processing, wait five seconds after the system reaches
the Idle state before using the power switch on the back of the Fiery EX2101 to turn it
off. For the proper shutdown procedure, see

“Starting and shutting down the

Fiery EX2101”

on page 7-14.
