Communicating over USB
The Micro-USB connection at the top of the battery core is used for flash memory dumps and
firmware upgrades through the use of a terminal emulator. Port settings are as follows:

When interfacing with the Kilo over USB, batteries should not be installed. As a consequence, the
device will fail its initial self-test. Sending any character to the device will abort the self-test and
end any beeping.
