Getting started
Before the first use the built-in lithium battery needs to be charged with the included USB cable. Turn off the
camera and open the cover [14]. Now connect the included USB cable to the socket [12] and a PC. During
charging, the charging indicator LED [10] will light red. The battery is fully charged after 2-4 hours, the red
LED goes out.
Now insert an appropriate microSD memory card into the card slot [13].
Note: without an SD card, the
camera can not save images.
Switching on: Press the ON / OFF switch. The LCD display starts with a short beep. The camera is now
ready for operation. To turn off press the ON / OFF switch button for about 1 second.
Note: after about 3 minutes of inactivity or low battery, the camera switches off automatically.
Mode selection
The camera comes with three Modes:
Symbol Name Description
Capture mode for taking still photos
Video mode for recording movie clips
Playback mode for playing recorded files
To switch between the modes, press the MODE button [7].
General Setup
Go in the menu of any mode with the Menu button [6]. Press the Menu button [6] again to enter the setup
menu (indicated by the wrench icon).
Menu Description
Date and time Display time and date on/off, set time and date
Auto OFF Auto off after 1, 3 or 5 minutes
Sounds Sound on/off: Shutter, Beep, volume
Language Select menu language: EN, FR, NL, ES, IT, PT, DE
Frequency Select frequency for the TV mode: 50 Hz or 60 Hz
TV mode Select TV mode: PAL or NTSC
Rotation Rotate the display 180°
Format Formatting the memory card
Reset all Restores the camera to the default settings
