positionYourplayer
Like your Xbox 360 console, the Xbox 360
HD DVD Player may be positioned to sit
horizontally or stand vertically. Unlike your
console, however, the HD DVD player has
rubber feet only on its horizontal base, making

obstructs either its fan or its cooling vents.
NOTe
Never change the orientation of your player
while a disc is loaded or while the player
is on.
Connecttopower
Connect the HD DVD player to power using
the provided power cord and AC power
supply.
To connect, completely insert the power
supply cord into the back of the HD DVD
player until it stops. Connect the AC power
cord into the power supply until it stops, then
connect the power cord to a standard wall
socket.
