Chapter 3: Customizing Communication Settings 

Once X7005Q DSL USB Modem and software have been plugged in and installed, the 
communication settings are easily updated by the following steps: 

 

1.  From your PC desktop click 

Start

   

Programs

   

X7005Q USB Modem

   

Configure

.  

 

2.  The “Communication Settings” dialogue will be displayed. Set up the new value to the 

VPI, VCI, Encapsulation type and/or Modulation type and click 

Next

. 

 

3. Select 

Yes, reboot the computer now

. Click 

Close

 and start using the system with the 

new value.
