You can use this stacking kit frame to install your dryer on top of your washing machine and create a space-
saving washer/dryer combination. Universally compatible with all units with a width from 55 to 66 cm, can
be adapted individually to the width of the washing machine cover.
Warning
The washing machine always has to be the lower device. Ensure that the washing machine and dryer are
disconnected from the mains power before installation.
1. Installing the stacking kit frame:
• Fold out the perforated rails (90°). Place both rails (1 & 2) on the washing machine cover so the perforated rails
are below the rails and on the washing machine cover.
• Loosen the wing nuts and place the right and left perforated rails on top of each other at the same width as the
washing machine. Fix them in place with the wing nuts.
• Fig. 2 shows the fully assembled stacking kit frame.
2. Assembly with a washing machine and dryer:
• Place the stacking kit frame parallel to the washing machine cover plate. The side beams (A + B) must lie
straight on the right and left sides of the washing machine cover plate. Generally, washing machine covers have
raised edges. Please attach the included foam strips (3) to the washing machine cover to compensate for these
edges so that the frame is in a level position. Cut the foam strips to the right size in advance. The foam strips
also reduce noise.
• For safety reasons, the stacking kit frame must be screwed on to the washing machine cover using the 4 screws
included in the kit. Ensure that the screws do not damage any of the underlying washing machine components.
Place your dryer on the stacking kit frame. Once again, the previously attached foam strips (3) act as padding.
The dryer feet must be screwed all the way in. It is possible that the feet may have to be completely removed, so
that the body of the dryer is truly only resting on the side beams.
• Secure the stacked dryer/washing machine arrangement using the lashing strap (4) provided to prevent the dryer
from toppling over, e.g. due to pulling on the door. Fit the strap around the entire column (i.e. washing machine
and dryer), feed it through the clamping lock and pull it tight.
Important:
Use a spirit level to ensure that the finished washer/dryer column is exactly level. Ensure that both units are
standing safely and securely with no room to move and check this every time before using the appliances.
Lashing strap: Only use the lashing strap for the purpose described; do not use it for lifting loads. Do not tie knots
in the lashing strap and do not lash it across sharp edges. Avoid hot areas > 90°C. Check the lashing and its
tension at regular intervals. Do not use the strap or the lock if they are damaged. Max. lashing capacity 800 daN.
