Hints on handling batteries
observe the following precautions when
handling batteries
➝
Keep batteries away from children.
➝
Batteries are hazardous waste and do not
belong in regular waste.
➝
Observe correct polarity while inserting the
battery
➝
Remove the battery if the device is not used
for a long period of time to avoid damage
through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries
might cause acid burns when contact with
skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to
handle corrupted batteries.
➝
Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not
leave the battery lying around. Children or pets
could swallow it.
➝
Make sure that batteries are not dismantled,
short-circuited or thrown into fire.
➝
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
There is a risk of explosion!
Troubleshooting
Problem:
The candles can not be operated with the
remote control:
Possible cause / solution:
Distance to the candle is too long?
The remote control has a range of about 4 meters.
Batteries inserted incorrectly?
Insert the batteries again, please note the right
polarity (+ / -)
Batteries are low or empty?
Replace the batteries with new ones.
Switch under the candle to OFF?
Slide the switch to ON.
Care and maintenance
If necessary, clean the housing with soap water and
a soft sponge.
Never use abrasive or solvents.
Other maintenance repairs than those specified
in these instructions may only be carried out by
specialized staff.
Dispose of the device at the end of its life at the
designated collection centers. In the interest of
environmental protection packaging material must
be supplied to the respective disposal system such
as the “Dualen System Deutschland” in Germany.
