17. Replace the outer metallic shaft of the soldering iron.
18. Replace the metallic nut and tighten.
Hot Tweezers
1. Turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source.
2. Allow the unit to reach room temperature before proceeding.
3. Disconnect the hot tweezers from the unit.
4. Unscrew the nut at the base of the tweezer tip (Figure 1 - #1).
5. Remove the pipe and tip - they do not separate (Figure 1 - #2 & #3).
6. Unscrew the screw on the one side of the handle (Figure 1 - #7).
7. Unscrew the screw inbetween the two sides (Figure 1 - #9).
8. Remove the spring (Figure 1 - 10).
9. Remove the handle from the Handle Set (Figure 1 - #11 & #6).
10. On the Handle Set unscrew te screw near the handle line (Figure
2 - #12).
11. Carefully remove the circuit board (Figure 2 - #15). Pay attention to
where the ground connection is for the spring (Figure 2 - #16).
12. Unsolder the exisiting heating element, taking note of wire color and
location (FIgure 2 - #4).
13. Remove the heating element.
14. Replace the heating element.
15. Repeat instructions in reverse order to reassemble the hot
tweezers.
