X-Rite DensiEye 100 and 700

DensiEye Reference Manual 4

8. Upgrade DensiEye 100 to 700

You can upgrade the DensiEye 100 to the full functionality of the DensiEye 700 by entering
a special 4 digit code (for example: 1679). Please contact your X-Rite dealer with the serial
number of your instrument to purchase the upgrade code.

Upgrade

Procedure:

•

Press and hold the Reset button.

•

Press and hold the Down button.

•

Release the Reset button.

•

Release the Down button.

The DensiEye is now in programming mode. The display shows 0000.

•

Use the Up/Down button to set the code for the first digit.

•

Press the Enter button to move the cursor to the next digit.

•

Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all digits are entered.

•

After the last digit is entered, the additional functions are available and can be selected

from the main menu.
