Equipment Set Up
Installation
Place the HOTROD directly on a counter top or on a BW20/40 bun warmer (available separately). Locate the unit as close to an AC
outlet as possible, to avoid undue strain on the power cord.
CAUTION:
To avoid equipment damage, make certain the nameplate voltage is the same as the outlet voltage. Before using the
HOTROD for the first time, wipe the rollers and the drip pan with a damp cloth.
Operation
There are 3 simple controls on the front of this unit: a toggle switch (which controls tube rotation) and 2 adjustable heat switches
with matching indicator lights (the FRONT control on the left adjusts the temperature of the first 5 tubes, while the REAR control on
the right adjusts the last 6). The table below shows the average tube temperature for each number on the heat switches. This
information is presented as a guide only; exact adjustment should be based on personal as well as customer preference. Variations
in local conditions may also cause actual temperatures to differ from those shown.
