10. Remote GPIO control
The Thyone-I allows to configure and control special GPIOs via remote and local access. Chap-
ter
contains the description of the necessary commands.
To use the remote GPIO control feature of the Thyone-I, the GPIOs of interest must be con-
figured first. This can be done in two ways. Either by the local host (see figure
), or via a
remote device (see figure
In case of the local host, it must send a
command to the
radio module via UART. In case of the remote device, it must send a unicast message
command to the radio module that shall be configured.
