For Your Safety
Each time before starting opera-
tion, the proper function of the
PRCD residual current device must
be checked. Do not use the PRCD
residual current device to switch
the machine on/off. The PRCD
residual current device may not lie
in water. The operation of the
machine may not be started when
the PRCD residual current device is
not operative.
❏
When operating the machine, water must not
be able to penetrate the motor or the electrical
components in any working position. Even
when the PRCD residual current device actu-
ates, there is still danger of an electric shock.
❏
On construction sites, electrical machinery may
only be supplied with power via a construction
site distribution board or a separate isolation
transformer.
❏
When water comes out of the control open-
ing

, stop working immediately and have the
machine checked by an authorized customer
service agent for Würth power tools.
❏
If the cable is damaged or cut through while
working, do not touch the cable but immedi-
ately pull the mains plug. Never use the
machine with a damaged cable.
❏
Only insert the plug when the machine is
switched off, and unplug after use.
❏
Switch off the machine if it should come to a
stop for any reason. After a break or an inter-
ruption from work, only switch the machine on
after having made sure that the core bit rotates
freely.
❏
Always use the auxiliary handle and hold the
machine with both hands. Be aware of the
machine's reaction torque.
❏
When starting the drilling, do not guide the drill
by hand. The machine can injure you, resulting
in loss of control. Work only with a drill-starter
or the drilling jig

under the age of 16 years.
❏
Use only original Würth parts and accessories.
