Mounting Instructions:
•
Remove the original screws of the handhold.
•
Place the spacers in the holes as shown on picture (Mounting ref. 1/1A).
•
Remove the original screws of the rear cover.
•
Place the spacers with step 15 x 3 x 10 in the holes as shown on picture (Mounting ref. 2/2A).
•
Pull the luggage carrier carefully apart and put it in place.
•
Pre-mount the luggage carrier with the listed mounting parts.
•
Align the luggage carrier, then tighten the screws with torque as shown in the parts list.
•
Other tightening torques as given by BMW (see workshop manual).
If not given: M 4: 3 nm, M 5: 5.9 nm, M 6: 10 nm, M 8: 25 nm, M 10: 49 nm, M 12: 85 nm).
Please note the maximum load capacity of 5 kg.
