5.5.1.3 DC Connection
Prerequisites:
If the battery has no circuit breaker or fuse, a circuit breaker or fuse shall
be installed between the battery and inverter which is able to securely
switch off the short-circuit current of the battery under fault conditions.
Required material:
•
2 x M10x35 millimeter hexagon screw
•
2 x
10.2 millimeter conical spring washer

Cable entry grommets
Procedure:
1.
Check
correct polarity (Figure 23).
2.
Route
cables through the cable entry grommets.
3.
Connect
the DC (+) and DC (-) cables to the corresponding terminals.
4.
Tighten
the screws with a torque of
44 Nm
(390 lb-in). The compression
cable lug must be suitable for a M10 screw.
5.
Fix
the cables with cable clamps.
