Avoid operating the radio (never transmit) while your radio is in the 
charger, as this can damage the radio, battery or charger.

Remove battery from the radio if storing for more than 1 month.

Store the battery at about 60% charge for the longest shelf life.

Don't submerge or intentionally soak radio with any liquid (or gel).

If accidentally submerged, turn radio o

towel, remove battery, shake any water out, dry again, set aside
