Introducing MURS and the KG-805M
The Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS) is a two way radio service that offers some
powerful benefits. Users are allowed to transmit at up to 2 watts without the need to
purchase a license. This radio is Licensed by Rule, meaning that your purchase and use
of the KG-805M automatically grants you a license to use it in the United States.
The KG-805M was designed to allow you to take advantage of all that MURS has to
offer and more. Right out of the box this radio is configured to allow you to transmit on
the 5 MURS simplex channels.
