Replacing the control unit 

Control unit reference: EF00458  

The control unit can be replaced while the transmitter is running. The transmitter will then operate with the last 
known parameters until the new control unit is functional.  

•

 

Open the rack on the front of the cabinet. 

•

 

Turn off the faulty control unit using the rear panel switch.  

•

 

Disconnect all cables. 

•

 

Remove the faulty control unit and replace it. 

•

 

Reconnect all cables, except for the driver and amplifier control elements (in red below). 

•

 

Turn on the control unit. 

•

 

Restore the control unit configuration by cloning (see section 8.6.3). 

•

 

Once the new control unit has the exact same configuration as the replaced unit, plug driver and amplifier 
control cables.
