Instructions
HOW TO USE YOUR NEW TORQUE WRENCH
Set amount of Torque required by turning the textured handle to
read exact amount on graduation scale.
Directions below for setting 86 ft. lbs.
1. Hold wrench in hand and turn textured lock nut at bottom of
wrench counter clockwise until it stops.
2. Turn textured handle clockwise until the zero graduation on
the beveled edge is lined with vertical mark and the 80 ft. lbs.
graduation.
3. Turn textured handle clockwise until the 6ft. lbs. graduation on
the beveled edge of the handle is in line with the vertical mark.
4. Turn textured lock nut at bottom of wrench clockwise until is
stops. Wrench is now set for 86 ft. lbs. and is ready to use.
5. Install the proper socket or attachment to the square drive
and apply to nut or bolt. Pull handle until you feel and/or hear
the wrench click. Wrench will reset automatically for the next
operation.
When setting for metric (KpM) use metric graduation scale and follow same procedures.
CAUTION:
DO NOT CONTINUE TO PULL AFTER WRENCH CLICKS.
USE SPECIAL CARE AT LOW TORQUE SETTINGS.

and the wrench has released. Pressure must be taken off the handle and the
wrench allowed to automatically reset itself. Continuing to apply pressure after
the wrench has released will result in damage to the unit.
