Always lead the mains cable away towards the rear of the
machine.

Maintain a stable posture and always keep your balance
when working.

Disconnet the unit from the mains before carring out any type
of maintenance or adjustments.

Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose fitting clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loosen fitting clothing, jewelley or long hair can
become caught up in moving parts.
Harmful or toxic dust
Caution! Harmful or toxic dust may be produced
when sanding lead painted surfaces, woods pr
metal. Contact with, or inhalation of these dust can
endanger the health of the operator or bystanders.
Keep bystanders out of the area, wear an approved
dust mask or respirator suitable for the material
being sanded and connect the machine to a dust
extraction device. If in doubt consult an expert.
OPERATION
CAUTION! Disconnect the plug the unit from tha mains
before carring out any maintenance or adjusments.

The muti sander is supplied with three interchangeable
sanding plates. Detail sanding plate, Tiangle sanding
attachment, and sanding attachment.
Processed as follows to fit the required sanding plate /
attachment.
♦
Remove the fitted sanding plate by removing the mounting
screw (A) using a Philips screwdriver (not supplied).
♦
Fit the required sanding plate / attachment to the base of the
machine.
♦
Secure the sanding plate / attachment by replacing and
tightening the mounting screw.
Fitting the sanding sheets
♦
Dust off the hook-and-loop pad on the sanding plate before
attaching a new sanding sheet.
♦
The sanding sheet must fit the sanding plate and may not
overlap. If applicable the holes punched in the sanding paper
must line up with the holes in the sanding plate in order for the
dust extraction to function properly.

Never use the sander without a sanding sheet or another
consumable fitted.
Using the machine
Switching ON / OFF

Press the
“I” button to turn the machine ON.
♦
Press the
“O” button to turn the machine OFF.
Usingt he multi sander
CAUTION! Wear safety goggles, ear protection and a
dust mask when using the machine.
♦
Always keep a firm grip on the tool. Use both hands.
Keep your fingers away from the sanding plate /
attachment.
♦
Switch the machine ON and wait until the machine has
reached its full no load speed before engaging with the
workpiece.
♦
Apply the sanding plate / attachment gently to the
workpiece. Exerting excessive pressure does not improve
sanding performance and can lead to a shortened disc life
and increased wear to the tool..
Excessive pressure does not increase sanding
performance!
Dust extraction
The multi sander can either be connected to the dust
collector (supplied) or to an exteral dust extraction device
or vacuum cleaner.
Dust collector
Proceed as follows to fit the dust collector to the machine:

Insert the dust collector (A) into the slots in the dust
extraction outlet (B) as shown.
♦
Pull the dust collector to remove it from the machine.
Changing / Empty the collection bag
♦
Remove the dust collector from the machine as
described above. Remove the black cover (C) from the
dust collector.
♦
Empty the dust collector and clean using compressed
air. The dust collector can also be washed but must be
dried thoroughly before being re-used.
MAINTENANCE
Make sure that the machine is not live when carrying out maintenance work on the motor. Regularly clean the machine
housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off
use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may
damage the plastic parts.
The machine requires no additional lubrication.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
In order to prevent the machine from damage during transport, it is delivered in a sturdy packaging. Most of the
packaging materials can be recycled. Take these materials to the appropriate recycling locations. Take your unwanted
machines to your local dealer. Here they will be disposed of in an environmentally safe way.
Discarded electric appliances are recyclable and should not be discarded in the domestic waste! Please actively
support us in conserving resources and protecting the environment by returning this appliance to the collection
centres (if available).
