Telescopic shaft adjustment (Fig.6)
1.
The line trimmer shaft can be adjusted to suit the height
of the operator.
Loosen the telescopic quick lock (5) .
2.
Adjust the telescopic shaft (11) up or down to the
appropriate height. Tighten the quick lock (5) Once adjustment is complete.
Manually increasing the cutting line (Fig.7)
1.
Before starting ensure the cutting line is the correct length.
2.
Push the tab on side of the spool housing and then pull on the end of both pieces of line
protruding from the spool
housing until it extends a few centimeters past the edge of
the safety guard (7).
3.
Carefully peel off the tape over the cutting blade if you have Not already
done so.
Semi-Automatic line feed
1.
Depress the On/Off switch and allow the line trimmer to reach full speed.
2.
Release the On/Off switch and allow the line trimmer to Come to a stop or
until you hear a click. Repeat steps 1&2 until required length is achieve.
Adjusting the cutting head (Fig.8)
By adjusting the cutting head angle to any of the 11 preset
Angles the line trimmer can be used to trim under low hanging Branches and shrubs or garden
furniture.
Depress the head angle lock button (6) and adjust the cutting head to the desired angle. Release
the button (6) and ensure that the cutting head locks in position.
Edging mode (Fig.11)
WARNING!
Before marking this change, make sure that line trimmer is switched off and unplugged.
In order to use the line trimmer as an edger, adjust as follows:
1.
Push the rotating head button (10) on the motor housing, then
rotate shaft to the edging position.
2.
Release rotating head button (10), ensure shaft
firmly clicks into position and you hear the “click” sound.
3. The trimmer can now be used for edging.
Extension cord retainer (Fig.9)
To avoid detaching the extension cord always check that it is
attached to the cord retainer (3) before using trimmer.

Make a loop with the extension cord and push it though the square
hole under the grip of the On/Off switch (2).
