Hitch the mill to the vehicle
WARNING!
Your vehicle should be equipped with a Class 4 hitch with
a solid 2 5/16” ball (not two-piece) and rated for at least 6000 pounds
(2722 kg). The hitch should be correctly mounted to the towing vehicle
so that it will be able to pull this type of load.Failure to follow this could
result in serious injury or death.
WARNING!
Always check trailer tires for proper inflation before towing
sawmill. Failure to follow this may lead to tire failure resulting in prop-
erty damage and/or serious injury or death.
1.
Position the towing vehicle in front of the mill.
2.
Use the tongue jack to lower the hitch over the ball coupling on your vehicle.
Adjust the coupler if necessary so it is as tight as possible on the ball and the locking
lever can still be opened and closed.
