Up/Down Operation (Hydro)

Install a blade, if needed, and check for correct blade tension.

(

See Section 3.3

).

4.

Set the cutting head to the desired height. (The blade height scale shows the height of the
blade above the bed rails.)

See Figure 4-2.

The up/down handle is located on the far right side of the control panel.

Push the handle up to raise the cutting head; push the handle down to lower the cutting
head. Pushing the handle further up or down increases the speed the cutting head moves
up or down. Hold the handle in position until the cutting head reaches the desired height,
then release.

CAUTION!

DO NOT try to force the carriage above the 35"

(88 cm) mark or below the 1" (2.54 cm) mark. Damage to
the up/down system may result.
