Drive Belt Tension Adjustment

4.

Using the adjustment bolts, move the motor mounting plate up to tension the drive belt or move it
down to loosen the belt. Next, tighten the mounting bolts. The belt should be tightened so there is
10 mm deflection with a 10 kgf deflection force.

CAUTION!

After replacement of the motor drive belt, always adjust

the belt tension as desribed above. Then turn on the motor for 5
minutes and check the belt tension again. If the belt deflection is
greater than 10 mm, adjust the belt tension again.
