When using a drain heater for the condensate pan, the outdoor unit must be
protected with a type B AC/DC-sensitive RCD. Type A RCDs are not suit
-
able.
Protection by means of circuit breakers (automatic cut-outs) is not sufficient.
After installation, re-establish the contact protection.
Incorrectly performed electrical
installation work may result in
electrocution and damage to the
appliance.
Notes on installation
• The heat transfer of the condensate pan heater must not be impeded.
• The heatable zone must only be installed in the metal zone.
Contact with plastic parts is not permitted.
• When routing the heating cable, ensure that the apertures for the conden
-
sate are not obstructed.
• The installed thermostat ensures fully autonomous operation. It must not
be immersed.
• The cable for the drain heater may not be shortened or damaged.
• Do not route over sharp edges.
• The bending radius must be no less than 20 mm.
• Keep the cable away from the fan area.
• When cleaning the condensate pan, only use detergents that are compat
-
ible with silicone.
