o not let cord hang over edge of table or worktop or touch hot surfaces, including stoves.

o not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

eep hands and utensils out of the jar and away from the cutting blade while blending or 

chopping food, to reduce the risk of severe personal injury and/or damage to the blender or 
available attachments (attachments may not be provided with blender).

 rubber spatula may 

be used but must be used only when blender is not running.

lades are sharp; handle carefully—especially when assembling, disassembling or cleaning 

inside blender jar.

o not use a broken, chipped or cracked blender jar.

lways operate blender with lid and emulsion cap assembly in place.

emove emulsion cap 

assembly only when adding ingredients or to insert the tamper.

hen blending hot liquids or ingredients, remove centre emulsion cap assembly from the 

lid.

se caution: spray or excess steaming may cause scalding and burns.

the 6-cup (1420-ml) level.

lways begin processing on lowest speed.

eep hands and other 

exposed skin away from the lid opening to prevent possible burns.

nsure cutter assembly is tight and secure to jar. Injury can occur if moving blades accidentally 

become exposed.

e careful if hot liquid is poured into the blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due 

to a sudden steaming.

I

f the jar twists or rotates when the motor is switched ON, switch OFF ( ) immediately and 

verify that the jar is properly secured to the blender base.

o not leave blender unattended while it is operating.

•

efore plugging cord into power outlet, turn off the appliance.
