4 Measuring
Turn on the meter, by pushing the ON/OFF
button (2) to ON.
Push the range select button (1) to the desired
range.
Remove the protective cap (4).
Face the light probe (3) to the light source.
Read the test value from the LCD display.
NOTE!
If the instrument only displays „1“, it means the
range used is overflow. In this case change to a
larger range.
5 Data-Hold
mode
Push the ON/OFF button (2) to HOLD.
The HOLD-Symbol will appear in the display and
the value is locked on the LCD.
To exit the HOLD-mode, push the ON/OFF
button (2) to ON again.
6 Battery
check-up
and replacement
When the left corner of the LCD display shows
a battery symbol, a battery replacement is re-
quired.
After turning off the meter, open the battery
cover.
Disconnect the battery from the instrument
and replace it with another 9V battery.
Close the battery compartment.
7 Maintenance
Do not use or store the instrument in extreme
high temperature or humidity environment.
Keep the probe clean during the usage.
According to the operational conditions and
time, the sensitivity of the meter decreases. In
order to maintain the accuracy of the instru-
ment, periodic calibration is recommended.
