PC with 10/100Base-T Ethernet Interface

Interconnecting Cable between PC and NMS interface of Challenger L IDU:

Stranded cable or straight through cable

IE5.5 or higher version

Telnet or SSH Client program

SNMP Manager

5.2.2.1

Serial Port

One may access Challenger L IDU via Serial Port with the following items required:

PC with modulation/demodulation functionalities

Serial Port Communication Software (eg. Super Terminal)

One length of Cable from DG-9 to HD-15 connecting MODEM to Challenger L IDU.

Note: Refer to the configuration of the Super Terminal in the “Local Access”

PC with Ethernet Interface

Remote Challenger L IDU with configurable global IP address

IE5.5 or higher version
