Safety

Lifting the Entire Body

Lifting the body requires securing both ends, at front and rear, to two lift beams. To do so, you will

need appropriate lifting devices for the rear section of the body (slings, shackles, lift beam and

overhead crane) and also for the front section (slings, lift beam and overhead crane).

OTE

Use of a single overhead crane to lift both sections of the W

ITTKE

™ body is possible but you

have to make sure of its lifting capacity, taking into account the whole weight of the body to be

lifted.

Lifting procedure:

Perform steps 1 - 5 of the procedure for

Lifting the Front section of the body

(see

Lifting the Front

Section of the Body

on page 25).

Install an appropriately rated shackle through each hole located at the body rear end near the

tailgate hinges (see Figure 2

22).
