For use with either
HY55 Flange neck option – ZF2030.
HY55QF Detachable Flange option – ZQF2030
Note:
Flange towbars must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which
dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
HY55S Swan Neck option – ZS2030.
HY55Q Detachable neck option – ZQ2030.
FITTING
1.
Loosen lower edge of bumper (4 screws along bottom edge) and remove plastic undertray on left side (2 screws into
bumper edge and 2 nuts securing to vehicle frame)
2.
Lower exhaust off rear most hanger and remove exhaust heat shield (4 nuts).
3.
Loosely attach sidearms (C) and spacer plates (B) to inner face of chassis rails using
fine pitch
fixings (D).
4.
Unclip wiring harness secured to bottom edge of crash beam inside bumper in-order to allow sufficient space for
crossbar.
5.
Insert crossbar (A) inside bumper and attach to sidearms (C) using fixings (E).
6.
Attach the required neck option as per separate fitting instruction with Electrical Plate (ZE) and safety chain plate (F) in
position shown.
7.
Fully tighten all fixings and re-attach heat shield, under-tray, exhaust and lower edge of bumper.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8 bolts:
M8 - 24Nm,
M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm
Grade 10.9:
M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
