Neck Kit
FITTING
1.
Remove bumper (2 plastic fixings on wheel arch liners each side, pull liners away from bumper tips. 1 tip screw each side.
2 plastic fixings on underside of bumper. Pull out bumper tips.

Remove inner bumper beam and hand to customer.
3.
Assemble Witter Cage Nuts to the appropriate holes on Side Arms (B). (See Side Arm hole diagram below & take care to
assemble cage nuts to the correct side of each Side Arm)
4.
Insert Side Arms (B) into chassis rails and loosely secure using fasteners (C & D)
5.
Assemble Cross Bar (A) to each Side Arm using fasteners (E) through the correct holes according to the Side Arm
Diagram below.
6.
Assemble chosen neck option (ZN) using separate fitting instructions.
7.
Assemble Electrical Plate (ZE) and Safety Chain Attachment (SCP) to Cross Bar (A) using separate fitting instructions.
(Note the use of longer bolts in combination with detachable neck options)
8.
Fully tighten all fasteners.
9.
Cut bumper as required, using the diagrams below as a guide and re-fit to vehicle.
Note: This tow bar must be used with either a Witter Tow ball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X tow ball dimensionally Conforming to A50-
1 with a ‘D’ and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the
tow bar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which
must be observed
.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8:
M8 - 27Nm,
M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214Nm
Grade 10.9:
M12
– 139Nm, M10– 78Nm
