2. Introduction
GTX-1010 series is a digital combustible or toxic gas leak transmitter with microprocessor application
circuit. So you can match this detector with one indicator. It consists of the sensor, terminal and explosion
proof housing, which is designed for hydrogen circumstance.
It is upgraded product compare with before product. (easy calibration, stable) The existing transmitter has
a wiring problem because it has “I” type conduit port. But new transmitter has “T” type conduit port.
It is furnished with an explosive-proof housing with removable cover. Generally you may install the gas
detector in the area has a risk of explosion and fire by gas leakage, and you may install the indicator in
the safe area and easy monitoring area.
The GTX-1010D version allows the cell to be used in remote mode up to 15 meters (standard), allowing
detection in extreme inaccessible location or in Zone 0 in the case of the intrinsically safe (IS) version.
Smart Sensors are made of 316L stainless steel, robust and resistance to corrosive agents. Pre-
calibrated sensors can be disconnected by turning the head of the unit. The sensors, which are equipped
with a printed circuit, can be calibrated outside hazardous areas on a bench. The Microprocessor in the
PCB provides a linear 4 to 20 mA signal, which corresponds to measuring range of gas.
Calibration and sensor sensitivity check can be performed by one person using a standard digital
voltmeter.
