Once in position, use the included security screws on each side of the speaker
to lock it into place in its bracket. These screws ensure that the speaker cannot
come off the bracket, even in the event of an earthquake
The connections to the speaker may be made either before or after the speaker
is hung on its bracket. (We usually find it easier to do after the speaker is se -
curely in place.)
Finally (in the case of the LS4 only), place the magnetically-attached stand in
place, screwing the threaded post down into the matching bearing cup just
until it is snug. The intent is not to support the weight of the speaker – the wall
bracket does that – but rather to provide a finishing touch visually that makes the
speaker seem somewhat less massive, while also helping to conceal any speaker
wires that might otherwise show underneath the speaker.
