The assembly of the crane arm takes place in reverse order.
If the OKTOPUS
®
GL-K800 is used without crane arm, rotating and swivel-
ling of the load is not possible!
3.6
Assembly and disassembly of the extension arms
The extension arms are installed as follows:
⇒
Place the OKTOPUS
®
GL-K800 in a flat position on a clean and smooth surface (suc-
tion cups pointing down).
⇒
Carry out the following work procedures successively for each extension arm:
- Remove the spring cotter and the locking bolt (see Fig. 14),
- Push the extension arm into the base frame of the device,
- Now fix the extension arm by using the spring cotter and the locking bolt which were
removed before.

Couple the suction cups placed on the extension arms to the vacuum system of the
OKTOPUS
®
.
Connect only vacuum hoses respectively vacuum hose couplings of the
same color!
