T
o programme the new ‘Access Code’ press the following
keys in sequence :-
Ensure the ‘On Air’ light flashes 5 times to confirm the
new setting has been accepted. (If the ‘On Air’ light does
not flash, wait 5 seconds and re-enter the programming
sequence from the beginning).
The W
ireless Keypad is now fully programmed, and
working on your new ‘Access Code’.
Operation
Ensur
e that the Solar Siren & Strobe is in ‘Disarm’ mode
(ie. Not in ‘Service’ mode).
The Keypad ‘On Air’ light will illuminate for 1 second after
each valid command is entered. (If the ‘On Air’ light does
not flash, wait 5 seconds and re-enter the command from
the beginning).
ARMING
T
o instantly arm your system press the following keys in
sequence-
The solar siren and strobe will give one bleep/flash to
confirm the system is fully armed.
ENTR
Y/EXIT DELAY ARMING
T
o arm the S100 System with an entry/exit delay (where this
facility is available) press the following keys in sequence:-
The Solar Siren & Strobe will give one bleep/flash; followed
by a 15 second Exit delay; followed by one bleep/flash.
The system will then be fully armed. If any detector is then
triggered, the system will initiate a 15 second Entry delay.
The Solar Siren and Strobe will emit one long bleep/flash;
followed by a 15 second Entry time during which the
system should be disarmed via the security keypad or a
remote control from the system.
Note: The Entr
y/Exit delay facility can only be set via the
wireless Keypad and only where the Siren and Strobe has a
built in Entry/Exit delay facility.
DISARMING
T
o disarm the system press the following keys in sequence:-
The Siren and Strobe will emit 2 bleeps and 2 flashes to
confirm disarming.
Personal Attack Alar
m
A full alar
m condition can be initiated from the keypad in
the event of threat or danger by pressing and holding
and together for more than 2 seconds.
PERSONAL A
TTACK ENABLE/DISABLE
The personal attack featur
e can be disabled if required
(eg. when the keypad is installed externally). To disable
press the following keys in sequence:-
To re-enable the Personal attack feature press the following
keys in sequence:-
In each case, ensure the ‘On Air’ light flashes 5 times to
confirm the change.
Changing Y
our Access Code
If you subsequently wish to change your Access Code
press the following keys in sequence:-
Remember to use your current Access Code to programme
the new code as above.
Low Batter
y Indication and
Battery Changing
If the batter
y voltage is low, the low battery indicator will
illuminate when a correct ‘Access Code’ is entered followed
by:-

Note: The keypad is tamper pr
otected. To prevent the alarm
from sounding when changing a low battery it is important
that the system is set to Service mode using the system
Remote Control to prevent a Tamper signal being received,
refer to your Installation & Operating Handbook for details.
To change the keypad battery, use the Allen key to undo
and remove the backplate securing screw at the bottom of
the keypad. Disconnect and remove the old battery and
connect a new 9V PP3 Alkaline battery.
Impor
tant:
The keypad will r
etain its programme for
approximately 15 seconds during battery changing. If the
keypad fails to operate your system after changing the battery
the keypad will need to have the ‘House Code’ and ‘Access
Code’ re-programmed as detailed above.
When you have replaced the battery remember to take
your system out of Service Mode.
