1 PURPOSE AND SAFETY
Triton Dual is an electrical powered shower and toilet chair with the ability to position height
and seat tilt. The chair is rated for 150 kg and can be used in homecare, nursing homes,
institutions and hospitals.
Purpose
The purpose of Triton/Dual is to assist the user and caregiver in the daily personal hygiene
activities. With the ability to adjust the height and seat tilt, Triton/Dual takes both the users
comfort and the caregivers optimal working position into account. Activities that the chair
can be used for could be:
•
Toileting, either in bathroom or other suitable places with a bed pan.
•
Showering or personal hygiene depending on the facilities available.
The digital control box makes Triton/Dual a more user-friendly toilet/shower chair. With the
four advance buttons on the hand control it allows the use a memory functions and a
transport position which makes short transfers in the chair easier.
Due to the LINAK components being rated IPx6W DURA™, Triton/Dual can be cleaned in a
washing machine up to 250 times. The international standard only requires 50 washes, but
with the high-quality components selected, this number is increased 5 times.
After thorough cleaning Triton/Dual can be used by multiple users (See 4.1).
Triton Dual is not a wheelchair and therefore not intended for longer transfers. Short
transfers e.g. within a room or to and from the bathroom are allowed.
Note: Do not use Triton Dual for purposes other than originally intended.

The maximum capacity of 150 kg must NEVER be exceeded.
•
NEVER use the chair if there are suspicions of defects (abnormal sound, loose
brackets etc.). In this case take the chair out of service and contact a service
technician, your dealer or Winncare Nordic.
•
NEVER leave the user alone in the chair
•
NEVER lift higher than necessary.
•
Always have the armrest folded down during use. If not possible for a given reason,
be extra cautious about the user.
•
The footrests should always be folded up before the user sits or stands up from the
chair.
