All below information serves to ensure the safety of user, read before use.
Please follow the instructions below.
- Consult your physicians or doctors before use.
- The transport chair should never be used without assistance of an attendant.
- Always check the wheels for signs of tears, cracks, or wears before use. If any of these signs is present, replace it
immediately. Stop using if there is any sign of damage.
- The maximum capacity of this transport chair is 115 kg/ 250lbs.
- Always test the lock brakes before operating and sitting down. When using the lock brake, the rear wheels should be
locked and not turning.
- Before entering or leaving the chair, keep the dual wheel locked.
- Do not install any accessories that are not recommended/ provided by Obbomed. Use of other manufacturer’s
accessories may result improper fit or bodily injuries.
- The transport chair is not suitable for use as seat in motor vehicles, users should always be transferred to vehicle’s seat.
- Recommend to remove or swing away the footrest before transferring the user.
- Do not step on the footrest when transferring, as this may cause tipping and result serious bodily injury.
- Ensure the handles do not twist or move. The handles must be tight and secure.
- Do not use on stairs and escalators.
- All four wheels should be in contact with the floor at all times during use.
- The transport chairs cannot be used on slopes greater than 10°.
- This chair is not designed for obstacles over 5 cm/ 2 inches. For small obstacles, attendant can lift the front wheels by
stepping on the stepper tube.
