Basic settings
Ex works, the BEETLE /XS is configured to your order. Your configuration
must be subsequently adapted to support supplementary devices such as
scanners. For more information, contact the WN branch office responsible
for your area.
Adjusting the system loudspeaker
You can set the volume as desired by means of a menu described in the
manual “BEETLE POS Motherboard”, chapter “BIOS Setup”.
Light emitting diode (LED)
The left LED green (POWER) lights when the
BEETLE /XS is switched on.
The right, yellow LED (HDD) lights up while
the hard disk is being accessed.
Connecting peripherals
The peripherals mentioned here are available as options and are not part of
the basic configuration. A separate manual is provided for each of the
connectable components. For more detailed information, please consult the
relevant documentation.
The figure shows the back panel of the BEETLE /XS with the locations of
the connecting sockets and connecting plugs. If you wish to connect a
monitor, however, you must also have a video board.
