If the POS system does not find a BEETLE card or disk in drive A:, it
automatically continues the loading process from drive C:.
If drive A: contains a BEETLE card or disk on which the
operating system is not stored, the POS system cannot
be booted. In this case, either replace the card or disk
with one that is system-boot-capable or remove the card
or disk altogether.
The operating system reponds with additional messages on the
cashier display or monitor, as shown in the illustration below.
If the operating system has started up without error, the POS
application software is automatically booted if necessary.
A message is displayed as soon as the POS workstation is ready for
operation. For more detailed information, see the description of your
application program.
