NOTE: Always follow facility protocols.
1.
If in chair position, adjust the Stretchair® to the lay-flat position (see page 15).
2.
In the lay-flat position, place the Stretchair® as close as possible to the bed or procedure table you
are transferring the occupant to.
3.
Using the handset control (FIG. 1), adjust the height of the Stretchair® to match the height of the bed
or procedure table.
4.
Completely lower the arm rest on the transfer side of the chair ONLY (FIG. 2).
5.
Lock wheels (FIG. 3, Brake Mode).
6.
Transfer the occupant to the bed or procedure table using facility protocols and the appropriate
number of attendants to ensure a safe transfer. *A transfer board or sheet may be used for easier
transfer.
