Safety instructions / warnings
The owner and / or user must have read and understood the operating instructions of the device be-
fore using it. Installed personnel should be cautious, competent, trained and qualified in the safe han-
dling of the working equipment used when working on engines and their components. Warnings
should be read and understood.

CAUTION
1. This device possesses a maximum lifting capacity of 135 kg. Do not exceed it.
2. Only use this device for lifting motorcycles and do not abuse it for any purpose that it has not been
designed for.
3. Always make sure to keep the lift out of reach of children as well as unauthorised personnel.
4. Only use the device on dry, even and sturdy ground and ensure that the working area is tidy and
well-lit.
5. Make sure to properly secure the motorcycle before lifting it.
6. Once the lift has reached its working height make sure the safety pin clicked into place as it pre-
vents the lift from retracting.
7. Be especially cautious while the lift is in motion and keep your hands and feet away from moving
parts.
8. Make sure you check the area beneath the lift and ensure that it is not obstructed by items, before
lowering the lift.
9. This device must not be utilised by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge.
10. Do not modify the lift in any way.
11. Do not expose the lift to rain, snow or other sources of moisture.
12. Make sure to have read and understood the information and instructions contained in this instruc-
tion manual before using the lift as incorrect handling might cause damage to the device and its sur-
roundings and lead to grave injuries.
MAINTENANCE
1. When not in use, the lift should be stored within a dry room in order to prevent corrosion. It should
further be stored in a way that makes it inaccessible to children and any unauthorised individual.
2. Always keep the lift clean and free from oil and grease residue. Make sure to only apply grease to
its joints.
3. Regularly check the lifting and pressure pistons to ensure that they are corrosion-free. Only utilise a
clean piece of cloth for cleaning procedures.
4. Check all the parts before using the lift. Do not use the device, if a part should be broken or dam-
aged. Perform the necessary repairs before utilising the device again.
5. If a decrease in lifting capacity should occur, open the drain valve and rapidly pump between 15 to
20 times in order to remove the excess air from the hydraulic system.
