Set main switch to

and close gas supply. The device will automatically run for approx 20 seconds, before
the mains voltage may be disconnected
Before any transport the gas heater must be completely cooled down.
During a longer standstill the unit has to be disconnected from electrical- and gas supply, packed
dust-proof but not air-proof (condensation humidity), and the gas connection has to be sealed
against dust and dirt.

Service
In order to guarantee the operating safety and to achieve a maximum economic efficiency the gas heater
has to be serviced and cleaned in reasonable periods.
For this the following must be considered:
The check of the safety devices may only be done by competent or authorized
personnel.
Pull the main plug and close gas supply during service.
The gas heater, especially safety thermostat, thermo element, burner, ignition electrode and fan, have to
be checked in reasonable periods for dirt and if necessary have to be cleaned.
Do
not
use water for cleaning!
Use original spare parts only!
Repair work on electrical- and gas-carrying components may only be done by experts!
Note the enclosed electrical wiring diagrams.
Should you notice or anticipate a gas leak, immediately close the gas supply, switch the unit off and
have it checked by an expert.
Should the unit be left in an unsafe condition, it has to be separated from the electrical- and gas supply
and has to be clearly marked as defective!
Warm air heaters have to be checked according to the using condition, minimum however once a year
by an expert for safe condition. The results have to be written down and kept until the next check.
