Spectrum measurements
Measurements of the modulation spectrum and the adjacent channel power due
to switching transients or due to modulation are accessible with a push on the
Spectrum softkey. Alternatively, the measurements are also accessible through
the T
OOLS
>
Spectrum
keys.
The spectrum analyzer menus provide test capabilities to evaluate the RF signals
received by the 4400 in the frequency domain.
The measurement of the modulation spectrum is a standard on all the 4400s.
The
A djacent C hannel P ower M eter spectrum measurements on both the spec-
trum due to modulation and due to switching transients are standard features in
the 4400M and optional to all other instruments of the 4400 series.
